My long time friend Patrick McGregor has been a sign painter for about thirty years. He paints everything from full-scale movie posters and product advertisements on the sides of skyscrapers and smaller buildings, to large-scale murals, to beautiful doggie portraits on canvas. Truly, this guy is super-talented, and I’ve really enjoyed watching him perfect his craft and excel over the years. As mentioned in a previous blog post, I hired him and his son Tristan to help me with my large mural in Milwaukie, Oregon on the backside of the Axletree Apartments a few years back.

The two of them have their own sign painting company called Esoteric Art, and recently Patrick asked me to send him some handstyles that he could use as a logo for merchandise and stickers. Below is a selection of what was sent to him. I absolutely love doing this kind of stuff. Most Graffiti writers waste time daily practicing their tags on scrap paper or an iPad, so doing the same thing for a friend’s business was an easy thumbs up.
